Cropo Funeral Chapel - Winnipeg

We are conveniently located just off the corner of Main Street and Inkster Boulevard . We have a large parking area next to our building and all of our floors are accessible to wheel chair.

Cropo Funeral Chapel provides two main floor chapels, both of which are wheelchair accessible. There are no steps for entry or exit in either chapel. The Sir Thomas Chapel is the larger of the two, with seating capacity for 350-400 people. Behind the chapel is a family room which can seat 20 immediate family members and friends. It is equipped with a modern sound system including both stationary and cordless microphones. This chapel houses an Allan Organ.

The Remembrance Chapel, the smaller of the two, is capable of seating 190 people. It too has a family room which seats 15. It also has stationary and cordless microphones and a Lowrey Organ. The chapel has a video system and drop down screen for video tributes.

The second floor provides a visitation area which can be turned into two separate rooms. These rooms can be used for private or public visitation.

The casket selection area is also on this floor. Displayed are a wide variety of caskets including cloth covered, veneer, hardwood, steel, copper and bronze. There is also a display of burial vaults.

The Cremation Urn selection area contains many urns, allowing for a personalized choice. In addition, there are also cremation containers or caskets in which your loved one may be viewed prior to cremation.

There are three arrangement rooms where licensed funeral directors assist families with their funeral planning.

Reception Facilities –  For Fellowship with Family and Friends Cropo Funeral Chapel has a reception room known as the “Rose Room.” The seating capacity of this room is 120 people for a sit-down meal and 200 for a stand-up, less formal affair. The Rose Room is elegantly decorated and provides a very attractive setting for your after-service fellowship. In addition to the Rose Room, The Large State Room is available for receptions of up to 56 people. This graceful room allows for smaller receptions and can also accommodate sit down meals.

Catering: Cropo Funeral Chapel has excellent catering facilities and services. We have a number of caterers that families can choose from and can accommodate small or large functions. All types of receptions are possible to suit your needs – from sandwiches and dainties to hot sit down meals. In addition to the catering staff, Cropo Funeral Chapel provides a hostess to ensure all guests are comfortable during the reception. Accessibility The funeral chapel is equipped with an elevator to provide easy access to all floors of the facility. All areas of the funeral chapel including a wheelchair accessible washroom are available for the convenience of those who may have difficulty with mobility.

Automobiles: Cropo Funeral Chapel has a fleet of Seven vehicles. These consist of Two lead cars for directors and clergy, two limousines three funeral coaches.

Parking: Cropo Funeral Chapel had the foresight to acquire adjacent land for the purpose of providing ample parking for its patrons. In addition, the chapel is located in an area of Winnipeg which is not congested. There is additional parking on the street as well as in large parking lots located immediately across the street from the chapel.
