| John Leggat, President / Owner (Licenced) Email: john@cropo.ca John Leggat was born in Winnipeg and has worked in both Winnipeg and rural Manitoba. He is married to Karen and they have two children. John graduated from Brandon University and the Queens University Executive Program. John has extensive experience in working with families and communities; his background includes working with families with disabilities, the child welfare system, child day care and employment and income assistance services. He was the Acting Assistant Deputy Minister for Family Services and Housing with the Manitoba Government. John's family service, management and funeral experience will ensure families at Cropo Funeral Chapel receive personalized and caring service. John has dedicated much of his life to advocating on behalf of people with mental disabilities and mental health issues. He has been involved with the YMCA and Association for Community living. Presently he is a member of the Rotary Club of Winnipeg North. |

Douglas began his career in financial services in 1980 and has spent the past 18 years in senior leadership positions with the Bank of Nova Scotia. He has extensive knowledge and experience in assisting individuals and families in financial and estate planning matters. Douglas has achieved his designation as a Personal Financial Planner and is an Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers. Douglas is married to Cona and they have three adult children. They are parishioners of St. Ivan Suchavsky Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. Douglas supports the community in his capacity as a Director with Hockey Manitoba, Board Member with Prairie Theater Exchange, Advisory Board Queens Own Cameron Highlander Regiment, and in his previous volunteer work with the United Way of Winnipeg and Special Olympics Manitoba. |
