Obituary of VERONICA CURRAN

VERONICA CURRAN It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Veronica Debra Curran on April 11, 2014. Veronica is survived by her loving parents John and Judith Curran; her siblings Ashling, Mark (Julianne), Garrett (Allison), Anne Allen (Chris) and her nieces and nephews Elizabeth, James, Thomas, Matthew and Caroline and her sister of the heart Reagan Sweeny. Veronica will also be greatly missed by her biological family, her Aunt Anita always fostering a loving connection. She will also be greatly missed by her many friends especially Patricia Jaworski. Veronica was born on October 29, 1972 in Arborg, Manitoba She attended St. John Brebeuf School and later 3 years at St. Angela's. A great lover of travel Veronica has lived everywhere from British Columbia to California. Veronica enjoyed spending time with family and friends, with her fantastic sense of humor and loving demeanor always making her the life of any gathering. As lover of nature, Veronica’s gentle spirit was always taking care of the many animals that came into her life, her nurturing soul made sure everything and everyone was always taken care of. Veronica had an artistic side to her from a young age, excelling at drawing, painting and anything creative to do with her hands. A great film and music aficionado Veronica was always up to date on every movie and show worth watching and made sure her beloved family was kept up to date, while ensuring music always graced the halls of their home. Before her health declined, Veronica had wonderful experiences traveling to and living in many places. She really enjoyed visiting her relatives in lreland and going on many family vacations. She will forever be missed by all those who knew her, but will always be remembered with warm memories, heartfelt smiles, and unending love. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 21 at St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Stafford and Corydon at 11:00 a.m., with viewing one hour prior. Thank you to the paramedics and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital whose grace and compassion will always be remembered by Veronica’s family and the kindness of Evelyn Fenniuk toward Veronica. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family asks that donations in Veronica’s memory can be made to Connect Employment services to support people with disabilities to work and participate in the community or to a charity of choice.
