Only today I came to know that my dear FR. GUY LAVALLEE, OMI left this world to his eternal home. I feel so sad. We were very good friends from 2002 onwards. He was in India for a year. During this time he attended my one-week residential Yoga Christian Meditation Retreat (Yoga Dhyana Sadhana) in Bangalore at Ashrivanam Benedictine Monastery. I came to Canada through his support and encouragements in 2003. He was so loving and understanding. Last year he came to Ottawa and we had meals together in the OMI provincial house. Last October 5 he told me about his illness and again on 8th I talked to him. On October 26th again I called him but the answering machine was on. I thought he might be taking rest. Today I called to his personal number but it went to the answering machine. Then I called the house and I came to know about his eternal departure. Let the Heavenly Father grand him eternal rest and joy in HIS presence.
