ROSE CHYZZY

Obituary of ROSE CHYZZY

ROSE CHYZZY (nee BREZNEV) Surrounded by her loving children, our beloved mother and grandma passed away on July 2, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Rose was born on August 19, 1930 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She married Bill Chyzzy on May 30, 1957 and was married until his passing on June 18, 1984. They had 7 wonderful children. Remaining to cherish her memory are her children Marion, Joanne (Paul), Mark (Nathalie), Caron (Craig), Susan (Brent), Laura (Dale) and Barbara (Jacques). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Carmen (Jeremy), Mark, Michelle, Andre, Hana, Lisa, Christina, Ashley, Holly, Nicholas, Leah, Jack, Luke, Katrine, Annika, and Logan. She was predeceased by her husband Bill, mother Emily, father Adolf and step father Andrew. Rose was devout Catholic and her faith gave her strength over her 84 years. She was so grateful for the Eucharistic ministers who faithfully visited several times a week. In spite of living with Multiple Sclerosis for 46 years, her complaints were remarkably few. Anyone who had the opportunity to meet Rose were amazed by her strength and positive attitude. Most importantly, Rose will be fondly remembered as a very special and loving mother and grandmother. Her love and devotion for us was immeasurable. Her eyes always lit up when her children and grandchildren walked into the room. She loved to hear all the adventures of her children and grandchildren especially during the late night visits at Riverview. She made sure our house was full of love and happiness. Her love for all of us will forever remain in our hearts. The family extends their deep appreciation to the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their special care. Prayers services will be held on Monday July 6, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel at Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave. A small reception will follow in the auditorium. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Joe Newman, sj on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing at 10:00 a.m. at St Ignatius Parish, 255 Stafford St. A luncheon will follow and all are welcome to attend.
